Meet Pyxi: We're on a Mission to Protect Your Social Health
Here's a question worth sitting with: when did you last have a conversation — a real one, uninterrupted, face to face — that left you feeling genuinely energised? Not a quick exchange at a coffee machine, not a video call with cameras off. A real conversation, the kind that wanders, surprises you, makes you laugh unexpectedly, or shifts something in how you see the world. For a lot of people, it's been a while. Longer than they'd like to admit.
Why we exist
The world has been running an unplanned experiment on human connection for the past two decades, and the results are starting to come in. Screen time is up. In-person time is down. Rates of reported loneliness have climbed sharply across every age group. We believe these trends are connected — and we believe they are reversible, but not without intention. That's what Pyxi is built around: the intention to nurture your social health the same way you might nurture your physical or mental health. With habits. With awareness. With community.
"We measure our success not by how much time you spend in the Pyxi app, but by the quality of the real interactions that happen outside of it."
We're glad you're here
If you've found Pyxi, chances are you've already felt some version of what we're describing. Maybe you've noticed yourself feeling flat after hours of scrolling. Maybe you look around at your life and feel like something's missing, even though everything looks fine on the outside. You're not imagining it. And you're not alone. We're building Pyxi for everyone who feels that pull — back towards people, back towards presence, back towards the kind of connection that actually nourishes.
